First you need to set up an account to enjoy a 30 day trial period free of charge. Once the account is created, you can log in and look for the button to open a new project, where you can start mapping your situations or a coaching session. You can also go back to a previous project by choosing from your dashboard the one you want to open. Click the project and it will immediately be restored on your screen.
All changes will be automatically saved as you develop your work, you don’t have to worry about that. To leave a project you just have to look for the button. Clicking here will take you back to the dashboard.
To load the 3D environment of our app we use a new standard web technology called WebGL. You could be having problems with that technology and this is why you can’t load the app properly. WebGL works best in Google Chrome, so the first thing we suggest is that you try accessing CoachingSpaces from this browser. If you are already using it, then you might want to update to the latest version. To check if this problem is fixed, you can go to http://get.webgl.org/. If you can see a rotating cube, then you are good to go! Just try logging in again and everything should be fine. If you can’t see the cube, then it could be some configuration problem or even a problem with the computer that you are using to access the app. In any case, you can send us an email and we will do our best to help you find out what is going on.

As you come to a newly created session you'll see a toolbar including this first icon: . When you click this a new window will open and this is where you type in the email address of the person you want to invite. They will receive an email with a link, and just by clicking this link they will immediately be redirected to the session in which you are waiting. If you experience any problems sending this invitation email, please contact us and we will fix it as soon as possible.
The link they receive by email should be enough, but we strongly recommend they set up an account before joining you. Specially if you are a professional coach, by creating an account a couple of days earlier you can both make sure everything will be up and running for when you have the appointment.
You can have up to 5 people in the same session, you (the session owner) and 4 guests.
When already in the project you want to share, the first thing you have to do is invite the other person to join. Once everyone has joined, there are a few options. You can either click the camera icon and start a video call, or talk to them through the “Speech and Chat” tab. There is also the possibility of just using the stage, while connected via other technologies like Skype or the telephone.
For the most of it, yes. But you, as the owner of the session, have access to some functions your guests can’t see: you can invite participants to the session, you can block the participants from moving objects and you can make private notes that only you can read.
Like every new app, you will probably have to get used to our interface to know where to find all the different functions that CoachingSpaces offers. But if you want, we will be more than happy to give you a demo session to help you through that process. After that, you will probably be able to guide your clients with all the different commands for what you need them to do next. From our users’ experience we’d say it takes only 8-10 hours of use to be comfortable in the app. It is also more than likely that you will quickly learn exactly which functions to use and when, so the sessions will feel just like the traditional ones, even in terms of time. The regular subscription to use CoachingSpaces can be cancelled every month. That means if you are using it now but are going on vacation next month and don’t want to pay for that period of time, you can just cancel it and there will be no charges from that moment onwards. Further to this, if when you come back you want to reactivate your account, you just have to log in and follow the instructions. Everything will go back to the way it was before and you can use CoachingSpaces as much as you need.
